DAVATEL introduces an API designed for distributors who want to offer fibre, mobile, landline and television services through their own websites. The integration connects an external website to DAVATEL’s catalogue and AI tariff finder, while service activations remain managed within our platform.
What problem does it solve?
Previously, distributors with their own websites could collect leads but had to look up tariffs and process service orders separately. The API lets them integrate part of this process directly into their websites: customers describe their needs, explore solutions and submit a request without leaving the page.
What can a website connected to DAVATEL do?
- Browse available operators and tariffs.
- Run searches with the AI tariff finder.
- Display compatible bundles of fibre, mobile, landline, TV and streaming platforms.
- Collect the service order details configured in DAVATEL.
- Attach the required documents.
- Submit the service order automatically linked to the distributor.
- Check the status later using a reference.
Practical use cases
A computer shop
It can add a section to its website where customers compare fibre and mobile plans before visiting the shop.
A consultancy
It can offer telecommunications as an additional service and submit requests from its own customer area.
An online comparison website
It can use the engine to present options tailored to the user’s answers.
A sales network
It can centralise the technology and keep each activation linked to the relevant distributor.
A WordPress website
It can integrate forms or a widget using the technical examples in the documentation.
An in-house CRM
It can browse tariffs and submit service orders without re-entering the information on another platform.
Commissions remain private
The API is designed to show customers the commercial details they need, without exposing commissions or DAVATEL’s internal information. Commission settlement remains within the private area and is linked to the distributor who owns the key.
Security and control
Each integration has its own key. Administration can manage API status, authorised domains, request limits, the latest connection and activity history.
What does a distributor need to get started?
Primarily, their own website and someone who can implement the integration. DAVATEL provides documentation, OpenAPI, a Postman collection, a JavaScript SDK, a widget and PHP and WordPress examples.
The specific integration may vary depending on the website, customer type and features to be enabled. DAVATEL can review each case before activating access.
