Commissions for selling fibre and mobile: validation and payment

A distributor’s commission depends on the product, the operator, the specific campaign, and the validation of the contract. The value of a proposal should not be recorded as earned revenue until the payment conditions have been met.

Evaluate the partnership based on your own business activity.

Before you begin, please let us know whether you operate a retail store, work as a sales representative, or already manage a client portfolio. We can then explain the partnership process and show you where to find the terms and conditions that apply to your specific profile.

When comparing opportunities, consider the commission amount, the validation requirements, and the potential for chargebacks. An advertised commission does not equate to guaranteed income.

Signing up is free. You can review the requirements for distributors or request more information before completing your registration.

From proposal to earned commission

  1. Proposal: A proposal is prepared; no sale has been validated yet.
  2. Application: The necessary data and documents are submitted for processing.
  3. Activation and validation: The transaction must meet all applicable conditions.
  4. Settlement and payment: The commission amount and the requirements for invoicing and payment are reviewed.

These steps outline the sales process; These do not replace the status and data for each individual file in your account.

What does a commission of up to 200 euros mean?

This is a maximum amount advertised for specific cases, not a fixed sum for every sign-up. Please check the specific commission and its requirements on the portal before offering the product.

When evaluating your activity, use the amounts applicable to your actual transactions. Do not multiply all your applications by the advertised maximum, and do not assume that all of them will end up being activated.

What to check in the settlement

According to the published terms, payment is made once DAVATEL has received payment from the operator or wholesaler and has obtained the correct invoice from the distributor or wholesaler.

Potential commission chargebacks (reversals)

Contractual terms include periods of 6 or 12 months from activation, depending on the operator, the service, and the specific transaction conditions. Termination, cancellation, return, or porting of a service within the applicable period may result in an adjustment or a claim, in accordance with the contract.

This period is separate from any minimum-term commitment (contract duration) the customer may have. Always check the current terms and conditions for distributors and wholesalers, as well as the specific details of the transaction.

How to create a useful forecast

Track three separate figures: projected commissions from pending requests, validated commissions, and commissions already received. Also, record any adjustments. This allows you to evaluate your business activity without conflating potential sales opportunities with actual available funds.

In the guide for calculating earnings, you will find an illustrative example. This does not constitute a guarantee of results.

Questions to ask before selecting a campaign
