DAVATEL · IDEAS FOR YOUR BUSINESS

How much a telecommunications distributor earns and how to calculate it

The commission figure shown in your account is the starting point for calculating your earnings from a sale. The final amount depends on the specific product, the type of service activation, and whether the transaction meets all validation and payment requirements.

Why not all sales yield the same commission

A port-in (number transfer) may carry a different commission than a new subscription. Terms can also vary depending on the operator, specific campaigns, primary plans, and additional products. Therefore, you should always check the information applicable to your profile before processing a transaction.

For a bundled package, review the primary plan, any add-ons, and the total commission shown in your account. Do not multiply an amount that applies to the entire package by the number of lines, and ensure you do not double-count any item that is already included.

What "up to €200 per sale" means

This is the maximum amount advertised by DAVATEL for specific scenarios. It does not apply to every plan, nor is it a fixed amount that applies to all customers. For each sale, the applicable commission—along with its specific terms—can be found on the portal.

An example of how to calculate earnings from selling fiber and mobile services

A hypothetical example to illustrate the calculation: Imagine four transactions with a commission of €30 each, and two others with a commission of €50 each. These figures do not represent an actual campaign or current DAVATEL commission rates.

Illustrative amounts; These do not constitute a commercial offer.
GroupTransactionsCommission per transactionSum
A430 €120 €
B250 €100 €
Total6Variable220 €

The total sum is only payable if all transactions meet the corresponding requirements. If one of the transactions in Group B is not validated, you should not count its €50 toward your confirmed earnings. Furthermore, commissions are not equivalent to business profit; to determine profit, you must account for your costs.

From the proposal to receiving payment

  1. Proposal: You have prepared an option for the client, which they may or may not choose to purchase.
  2. Application: Data and documents have been submitted to process the service.
  3. Validation: It is verified that the transaction meets the required conditions.
  4. Settlement and payment: The payment terms of the agreement are applied, and the applicable commission is paid out.

These stages outline the commercial process; the specific terms you see in your account may vary. A submitted application does not, in itself, represent realized revenue.

What to review when closing out the month

Check each transaction by its reference, product, and status. Compare the expected commission with the settled amount and record any necessary adjustments. Avoid using current rates to reconstruct the value of a past sale from memory.

Also, review the agreement before assuming a specific payment date or final commission amount; there may be requirements related to payment prerequisites, invoicing, or adjustments due to issues or cancellations. If a transaction does not match your expectations, please consult with our support team regarding your specific case.

Questions regarding distributor commissions

Can I calculate how much I will earn per month?

You can create a forecast based on your activity and the applicable commissions. It is important to distinguish between potential sales, validated transactions, and actual payouts; there is no guaranteed monthly figure.

Should I always choose the plan with the highest commission?

The proposal should address the client's needs and be available for their specific location and situation. A higher commission does not compensate for an offer that cannot be contracted or is not a suitable fit.

Where can I check my commission?

In your DAVATEL account, under the rate and commission information available for your profile. Review the amount and the terms and conditions before processing any orders.
